In my last post I spoke of a dress I ordered from So the dress arrived and I excited opened it and tried it on.

Having never bought a dress from BooHoo, I had no idea what their sizing would be like. The dress clings a bit more than I was expecting, but I love the print and love the feel of the fabric. How much the dress clings to all my lumps and bumps took me back a little bit initially and I did consider sending it back, but after looking at myself long and hard in the mirror, I decided I would keep it. And make myself wear it. Because a dress this pretty deserves to be worn.

Today I gave it it’s first proper outing. I teamed it up with a pair of comfy brown boots which are perfect for the changing weather, a denim jacket that my beautiful girlfriend Megan loaned me, and a combination of two skinny belts tied together.

Here is a side profile to show how my lumps and bumps are all just….there.

Megan was kind enough to take the photographs for me. We had a bit of a laugh doing it! 🙂

She decided it would be fun to lock me out….nooooooooo!

Having a good giggle and showing off my butt.

When I did my make up, I tried to use colours to match up to the colours in the dress, so I went with yellow, blue and pink. I was very happy with the outcome! The MUA palette I bought last week continues to impress me.

I love what I did with the belts on this outfit. I’ve had them for a long time but never wore them together like this.
