Yesterday was a self care day. I touched up my roots. So I went to the gym instead today.
It was a good workout; I did in total 50 minutes of cardio; 18 on the cycle, 15 on the crosstrainer, and 17 on the treadmill. Here’s how my stats, today versus last week, play out:
I am not going to track my weight. My fitness journey is not about the number on the scale, or the number on the labels on my clothes.
My journey is about mobility and health. It’s about looking after my body through exercise.
I love my body exactly as it is, and I will continue to love it if it changes. Or if it doesn’t.
I promise that to myself.
